How to Make Withdrawal from your EPF account to pay your housing loan monthly instalments?

This withdrawal allows you to withdraw your Account 2 savings to pay for your housing loan monthly instalments taken for the purpose of buying / building a house. This withdrawal is an addition to the existing withdrawal, which is the Withdrawal to Reduce / Redeem Housing Loan.

MAIN DOCUMENTS
1.    KWSP 9P (AHL) Withdrawal Form. (Please get the form from EPF Office as the printed form downloaded from EPF website are not accepted).
2.    Personal Identification Card (Original and Photostat Copy)
3.    Bank Savings Account Passbook (Original and Photostat copy of front page only)
4.    Get the Housing Loan Balance Statement (Date of balance statement must not be more than one month from the date the application is received)

SUMMARY

1.    Check your withdrawal eligibility amount from your Account 2 at EPF Office OR if you have registered i-Akaun, you can check it by yourself.
2.    Submit the completed KWSP 9P(AHL) Withdrawal Form and all the required main documents through EPF Counter.
3.    You have to inform the EPF Officer the amount of monthly installment to be credited and for how many months. (Maximum monthly amount is as per stated in the Housing Loan Balance Statement)
4.    After EPF Officer verified and accepted all your documents and you have to wait within 4 to 14 working days to receive a notification through SMS that your savings account is credited.
5.    You can now pay your housing loan and now you have extra money every month from your salary to be used for investment or savings.
